School Social Worker
About Fast growing, national, special education company seeking to employ a Social Worker at our White Marsh, MD location.
Social Worker will be responsible for servicing a case load of 25-30 students with a variety of disabilities using a proven behavioral management and academic model to address their needs.
You Are The candidate should have a strong work ethic and be flexible and self-driven.
The candidate should also display professionalism, coachability and a willingness to grow.
The individual will work closely with the administration, the special education teacher and other staff to ensure academic and behavioral goals are being implemented and met.
The candidate should also be able to learn and adapt to the school model.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform group therapy and individual therapy sessions and submit notes Write social emotional goals for IEP that fit the students' needs Write social work progress summaries for IEPs Meet and collaborate with outside providers and facilitate outside resources Provide classroom support Provide student de-escalation techniques Engage in regular parent communication Facilitate student to student mediation Qualifications MSW minimum or L-MSW preferred.
Must be Fully Vaccinated Compensation Salary range of $50,000-52,000 Opportunity to continue work over the summer for 24 days at $30/hr.
