Global Business Project Manager - TIC Gums

The Global Business Project Manager is responsible for leading the development and positioning of projects with the goal to grow our global hydrocolloids business. Project planning and execution are important for this role and the position requires a close working relationship with cross-functional leads across all regions (APAC, EMEA, South America and Mexico). This position will work with the Global Business development team to ensure that all key regional projects are aligned with our strategic plan for growth in the regions. This role will also have close working relationship with the global product management team to align with our global strategy for key products and solutions.
As Global Business Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Serves as the lead for creating, implementing, supporting and communicating the project plans from each region to ensure alignment across internal functions. Proactively reports essential information and updates to key TIC stakeholders
Works with each regional lead to develop project plans (and risk analysis) and ensure alignment with overall regional growth strategy
Supports the development and implementation of business development plans for all regions, in line with the 5 year strategic plan of TIC. These plans will involve specific goals, expected outcomes, timeline to deliver and plan of execution
Support bi-monthly regional pipeline reviews - communicate meeting reports, action items and timelines for deliverables.
Works with various functions (R&D, Quality and Regulatory, Marketing, Demand and Planning, Product Management) to manage and execute regional requests and projects
Works with the Product Management team to manage the business process of new system introductions for the regions, in line with our growth strategy. Manage product lists to ensure alignment with each region's market and product strategy
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business leads in the regions and facilitate communications between the regions and internal teams
Serve as the internal lead and champion for all key projects in the regions and influence TIC functional teams to support the execution and completion of these projects in a timely manner.
Establish and implement processes to maximize profit of new systems. Work with business development team to outline value props (along with competitive intelligence) and create target customers and segments. Communicate commercial success stories with all regions and provide adequate support for replication.
Manage the review of current/future workflows and operational considerations, in line with regional business demands.
Promote and communicate relevant regional business updates to gain buy-in and facilitate collaboration across internal functional teams
Cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to network across the Ingredion/TIC regions
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, engineering or related fields and 5 years of related industry experience is required
3+ years of commercial and project management experience is required. PMP Certification an asset
Knowledge and experience in the food and beverage industry, food ingredient markets, competitors and supply chains.
A good understanding of international business and multicultural relations
Experience in the following project management knowledge areas are an asset: Integration and scope management, project risk and communications management, time and resource management
Ability to effectively assimilate and communicate complex information from multiple sources and proven ability to handle a large variety of tasks and information in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated experience working as part of a team and the ability to recognize and lead the resolution of project issues and road blocks
Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills are required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), including Microsoft Project
Analytical, critical thinking, strong self-starter, assertiveness, decision making and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel (both domestic and international) and capable of working in a diverse multicultural/multilingual environment (Up to 20%)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
