Associates Degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry or related field.

Bachelors Degree is a plus.

1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management).

Strong interpersonal, communications and documentation skills.

Proficient in Windows software (spreadsheet, word processing, graphics)

Provide technical support to the client

Provide customer service/trouble-shooting at the client location

Support site continuous improvement projects, which result in cost savings or recognized value

Provide support to client user, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Purchasing

Assist in the management of all tier suppliers and their on-site representatives

Work with site team to monitor, control, and improve customer processes.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives Support

Assist with the identification and implementation of cost savings opportunities on the client's behalf.

Document projects and report continuous improvement and/or cost reductions.

Receives assistance in the identification of projects; implementation is largely self-directed.

EHS Support:

Support client Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team by providing tollgate function in the screening, review, and procurement of chemicals (MSDSs).

Assist in the approval process and service as resource to provide information and education of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Assist in the elimination of undesirable materials, waste minimization, reduction and consolidation of materials and suppliers, and usage reporting.

Technical Support:

Function as a technical resource to the site team as well as the client to trouble-shoot problems or issues.

Provide expertise in the application and usage of chemical materials.

Involvement in all chemical related processes including monitoring, reporting, trending, and meeting attendance as necessary.

Assist on-site suppliers with Key Process Indicators tracking.

Provide education and training for the client regarding the use, application, storage, and disposal of chemical materials.

Customer Service Support:

Provide customer service to client personnel on chemical procurement, inventory, and service issues.

Manage materials, inventory, client usage, and crib activities to ensure responsiveness to client needs and expectations.

Direct and support the purchasing department in expediting, emergency orders, etc.

Back up other positions on the site team occasionally as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
