Fiber Project Manager - In Office

Job Description

Apex Systems has an opening for an in-office Fiber Project Coordinator. This is a long-term rolling contract supporting one of the nation's largest media organizations. The Construction Coordinator will work in Timonium, MD.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities of Fiber Project Coordinator:

  • Manage the Access database and Excel spreadsheets
  • Provide analytics
  • Keep reporting up to date
  • Ensure the contractors are hitting KPIs
  • Liaison between Construction and Internal Team

Skills and Experience Fiber Project Coordinator:

  • 2-4 years in the cable industry desired
  • Strong Excel and Access experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess critical thinking, analysis, and process improvement skills
  • Possess interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, prioritization, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive multiple tasks/projects to completion simultaneously


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
