Service Desk Technician

Job Summary As a Service Desk Technician, your responsibilities will include: Troubleshoot end user issues: Provide remote support and effectively walk internal clients through troubleshooting steps via telephone. Maintain hardware and peripherals: Configure and install hardware and software; ship and receive IT equipment and assist with IT asset inventory Interact with other IT groups: Communicate with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Facilitate user account management: Responsible for onboarding, change and departure processes as it relates to Active Directory, PC imaging/testing and deployment. ITIL Foundation: Maintain and improve processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists as it relates to the business Achieve metrics in SLA?s: Good performance on client satisfaction surveys and completion of service requests Documentation: Comply with Corporate IT Service Management and Service Desk policies, procedures and directives. Job Requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Help Desk or IT support role required College degree or relevant certifications (A+, Net + and Sec+) required Experience with adds/removes/changes in Active Directory Understanding of basic networking components Scripting with batch files and PowerShell is preferred Experience with Windows OS (Win 10 a plus) Experience with Windows Server 2012 is preferred Ability to provide evening and weekend support when assigned or as needed. Strong time management and communication skills to support growing business function. Must have a strong desire to build a career in Information Technology

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
