SSC Fraud Prevention System Administrator

Your tasks will include:
Manual screening of suspicious or flagged transactions
Verify / initiate a cancellation / decline of the order within designated timeframes
Carry out manual review security verification with persons suspected of fraud
Occasional pro-active participation in anti-fraud operations
Support the Fraud Analytics & Chargeback teams, and work closely with other internal and external technology groups
Respond and resolve incoming calls from Customer Service Specialists, Bank employees, Loss Prevention, and Law enforcement regarding fraudulent or potential fraud

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of daily duties
Multi-task, ability to work under time pressure
Have a solution focused approach
Self-motivated, prioritize and take initiative towards set objectives
Maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working to urgent deadlines
Build strong relationships with business partners
Ability to exchange knowledge and experience
Ability and willingness to travel regularly

Good at end-to-end knowledge of assigned sub-process

Additional Information : This position is located at the IKEA US Global Shared Services in Baltimore, Maryland.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
