Digital Media Specialist - TIC Gums

SUMMARY: The Digital Media Specialist is the visual storyteller for the company and uses current and innovative technology to promote the organization. This position is responsible for the development of finished digital media projects which can include video, photography, graphics and other web-related initiatives. This position also provides support to the Business Development team, assisting in campaign development and execution. It is essential that the Digital Media Specialist is able to regularly manage multiple projects with short delivery windows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Plan, direct and produce new marketing video and audio productions from ideation through the final deliverable including story boards, outlines, interviews, scripts and other necessary creative. The position will also help lead in the appropriate posting, tracking and distribution of finished video and audio projects.
Manage all recording facilities and equipment for both video and audio to the highest standard.
Regularly produce content in a timely manner. Edit all video and audio projects for time and/or content.
Plan, create and execute virtual media campaigns including online and email campaigns using appropriate software.
Assist the business development team by developing new campaigns, identifying campaign targets, and implementing new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media.
Understand SEO implications and manage metadata accordingly for all digital media.
Monitor and report on metrics associated with the digital content produced including but not limited to: number and time viewed, bounce rates, conversion rates.
Perform a variety of specialized administrative and clerical duties in support of the marketing department.
Maintain knowledge of current trends and best practices; identify, evaluate and recommend emerging digital media technologies and methodologies.
Follows all company safety rules in performing job duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, graphic design, video production or photography and two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Essential skills include a 'self-starter' ambition with great communication skills who can thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoys a collaborative atmosphere.
Must have advanced computer literacy, including the ability to work with specific computer software programs such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Must be able to design graphic and interactive media elements using image creation and photo editing software with appropriate knowledge of design and image processing skills. Knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, Prelude, Premier Pro and a multi-track audio recording and editing software such as Audition or Audacity, preferred.
In addition, must be proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and concepting, understand basic and advanced composition techniques and comprehends the fundamentals of branding.
Employee will have frequent contact with others within the organization, and in certain scenarios will have to give and receive criticism to develop the best content. Therefore, they must be able to handle critiques and provide feedback in a positive manner.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
